Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Clypx, available at www.clypx.pro (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

Clypx turns what you say or type — your day, your week, or an upcoming trip — into a structured, day-by-day calendar, and can send you daily email reminders. Some features require an active Espresso subscription.

2. Accounts

You can create an account with a magic link sent to your email or by signing in with Google. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

3. The honor system

Clypx asks you to confirm, in your own words, whether tasks you scheduled for a past day were actually done. This is a self-accountability feature: your confirmations and any explanation you write are stored on your account and are never shared with anyone else, but the Service will restrict adding new plans until any pending confirmation is resolved.

4. Subscription and billing

• The Espresso plan is billed on a recurring basis (currently monthly) through Stripe.
• Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
• You can cancel anytime from your account’s billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, or to store unlawful content;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Use the Service to send spam or abuse other users or our systems.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the events, notes, and other content you add to your calendar. By using the Service, you grant us the limited right to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Intellectual property

The Clypx name, logo, and the Service itself (excluding your own content) are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific needs — including the accuracy of AI-generated plans, which you should always double-check for anything important.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clypx will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed events or appointments.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in accordance with those laws.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
