This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Clypx (“Clypx,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use www.clypx.pro (the “Service”), why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.
- Content you create — the events, titles, dates, times, categories, and notes you type or dictate into your calendar, and any excuse text you write when confirming a past task.
- Payment information — if you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage information — basic technical data such as your browser type and general region, used to keep the Service secure and working correctly.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (creating and displaying your calendar);
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- Process payments and manage your subscription;
- Send you the daily email digest and account-related emails, if enabled;
- Understand which marketing efforts led you to sign up, so we can improve them.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers (“processors”) to run Clypx. We never sell your data.
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication (including “Sign in with Google”). Your account and calendar data are stored on Supabase’s infrastructure.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs the payment details you give it directly.
- Brevo — sends transactional emails (magic links, daily digests, reminders) on our behalf.
- Meta (Facebook) — we report certain events (such as a completed subscription) to Meta’s Conversions API, server-side, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We do not run a tracking pixel in your browser.
- Vercel — hosts the Clypx application itself.
4. Cookies
Clypx only uses strictly necessary cookies — specifically, a session cookie set by Supabase so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and no cookie banner consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable law.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and calendar data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we’re required to keep records for tax or legal reasons (such as payment records).
6. Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state privacy laws, including the right to:
- Know what personal data we’ve collected about you;
- Access a copy of that data;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of your data;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your data — Clypx does not sell your personal data, and the only sharing we do is with the service providers listed above to run the Service and measure our advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@clypx.pro. You can also delete most of your data yourself at any time by removing events from your calendar or contacting us to close your account. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
7. Children’s privacy
Clypx is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
